Once the renovation phase has been completed, the site will become a centre of participatory planning for the sustainable human development of the territory. To this end, the Foundation has entered into a partnership with the Turin Polytechnic, through the master’s degree programme in ‘Methods and Techniques for the Governance of Resilient Territories’. The research HUB will support the municipality in the implementation of a social green Strategic Plan that envisions the enhancement of the Borgo within inclusive practices interconnected to economies linked to the ecological transition.
The Village of Beauty and Science – Novara di Sicilia
In 2021, the Foundation set up a Property Fund in Novara di Sicilia and started the process of refurbishing the building complex by involving Solidarity & Energy, the Energy Service Company, a spin-off of the Foundation itself.
